A long piece of antique hand-embroidered net lace, probably dating from the early 20th century.

The design features repeating stylised branches, fern-like leaves and small flowers worked over a fine ivory net background. The lower edge has a distinctive pointed zigzag shape, giving the lace a decorative finish.

A lovely piece for antique textile collections, sewing projects, historical costumes, or decorative use.
