Antique handmade lace Bertha collar, believed to be Brussels Duchesse-style bobbin lace, possibly incorporating Point de Gaze needle-lace details. Likely dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. From a private Belgian collection.

Wide shoulder-covering design with a square neckline, pointed front and two pointed sections at the open back. Decorated with numerous small floral rosettes, scrolling ribbons, a central oval medallion, fine openwork, connecting brides and scalloped edges.

Conditions:

Excellent antique condition, with no visible holes, tears or significant wear. Very few age-related marks, as shown in the photographs.
