This antique Belgian curtain is made from Swiss pure linen with a very fine, soft weave that allows light to filter through the panel. The size is 200 cm wide × 180 cm long. The vertical edges are finished with a narrow lace trim, the bottom edge with a linen band and a drawn-thread line, and the top edge is clean.

This curtain features a wide embroidered border with floral motifs worked in satin stitches. The regularity of the motifs suggests it was machine embroidered. The embroidery is detailed and runs across the lower section, adding character and texture to the linen base.
