  • Dimensions: 246 cm wide × 200 cm long
  • Fabric fiber: pure linen
  • Color: light cream
  • Country of origin: Belgium

This antique Belgian curtain is made from Swiss pure linen with an extremely fine, transparent weave that allows light to filter through. The panel measures 246 cm wide × 200 cm long. The vertical edges are finished with a narrow lace trim, while the top is neat.

The decoration includes a 15 cm wide handmade bobbin lace insertion, worked in the Bruges style with floral and geometric motifs connected by bars and picots. Variations in the threads and motifs confirm its hand-made construction, typical of early 20th-century Belgian lace production.

This large antique linen panel is authentic and versatile. It can be used as a window curtain, room divider, or decorative textile. It is also valued by collectors, interior designers, and textile artists for reuse in creative sewing and interior projects.

All curtains in this collection are antique and authentic, manufactured in Belgium with Swiss linen and Bruges lace. Each piece varies in size and lace design, but all share the same high quality. This panel is in very good condition, selected for its durability and decorative appeal.

Specifications:

Conditions: Antique, in excellent condition, the linen and the lace are intact, with some stains visible in the lower part of the linen panel (shown in pictures).

Care Instructions:

- Preferred: Dry clean, to protect the lace and stitching.

- If washing at home: Hand wash separately in cold or lukewarm water with a mild soap.

- Avoid: Bleach, strong detergents, wringing, or tumble drying — these damage linen fibers and lace.

- Drying: Lay flat on a towel or line dry in the shade (avoid direct sun, which weakens fibers).

- Ironing: Use medium heat while the fabric is still slightly damp, with a pressing cloth if needed to protect the lace.
