This antique Belgian curtain measures 210 × 200 cm and is made of fine Swiss linen. The panel is decorated with a 34 cm handmade Bruges Renaissance lace border. The lace is worked with raised tape outlines filled with needle-made bars, picots, and decorative stitches, a style typical of early 20th century Bruges lace production.

The vertical edges are finished with a narrow lace trim, while the top is neatly cut. The linen weave is light and transparent, designed to let natural light filter through and highlight the handmade lace details.

This large curtain is suitable for use as a decorative window panel, room divider, or interior textile. It is also valued by designers and collectors for reuse in creative projects.

All curtains in this collection are antique and authentic, manufactured in Belgium with Swiss linen and Bruges lace. Each piece varies in size and lace design, but all share the same high quality. This panel has been selected for its handmade lace and decorative appeal.

Specifications:

Conditions: Antique, in excellent condition, the linen and the lace are intact. There is a faint spot, likely from the original embroidery process, only visible upon close inspection (shown in last picture)

Care Instructions:

- Preferred: Dry clean, to protect the lace and stitching.

- If washing at home: Hand wash separately in cold or lukewarm water with a mild soap.

- Avoid: Bleach, strong detergents, wringing, or tumble drying — these damage linen fibers and lace.

- Drying: Lay flat on a towel or line dry in the shade (avoid direct sun, which weakens fibers).

- Ironing: Use medium heat while the fabric is still slightly damp, with a pressing cloth if needed to protect the lace.
